Cervical Spondylosis
A general term for age-related wear and tear of the spinal discs. Spondylosis is common and worsens with age. This condition is often used to describe degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis) of the spine. Most people don't have symptoms, but some may experience pain or muscle spasms.
Greeva Stambha (A Vataja Disorder) simulates cervical spondylosis, which is a chronic degenerative condition of the cervical spine.
Snehana and Swedana have been advocated for Vatavyadhis. With Snehana and Swedana, Vakra and stabdha body parts can be namayita (bended softly).The results of Snehana and Swedana are nourishment of dhatus, increase in Agni-bala and increase in strength of the body.
Can have no symptoms, but people may experience:
Pain areas: in the back, legs, thighs and buttocks that worsens with standing, neck, or shoulder Muscular: muscle weakness or muscle spasms Also common: headache or sensation of pins and needles
